A small change in direction.

So I have kind of been spending the last month in self reflection. I wanted to take the time to collect all of my thoughts and make sense of myself again.
I thought what I've learned was good enough to share.

First, as much as I truly believe in putting positive energy out there, I have learned that making your growth process all about spirituality and a moral challenge will hinder your development rather than help.
We need to step back for a second and set aside right and wrong, good and evil, and all your predetermined moral values. If everything in the universe is all connected, then in reality "good" and "bad" intertwine. You have to free yourself from any mold that you are trying to fit yourself into. This mold is only holding you back.
Once the slate is wiped clean we can begin to relearn and gain the wisdom we seek.

Second, reaching a higher state of consciousness shouldn't be about separating our true animal instincts from some higher sense of self. That seems to be the very mentality that is holding us back. It should be about letting yourself truly flow without limits.
We had access to cosmic energy and higher states when we were first conceived and we still have access to it today. You don't have to go out and fast , or become a monk, or even be a "good" person to be able to access this energy and knowledge. It is our birthright as a life form in this universe.
Everything is in constant flowing motion with the universe, we were made to have the desires and instincts we have.
I heard an awesome example of natural psychic phenomena from a video the other day.
"Proof of a mental/ psychic connection in all things  is most evident in the wild. Birds for example, when flying can effortlessly create all sorts of formations together with out any plan or practice. They just know."
I am not implying that we should go back to crawling on all fours and sleeping in trees. Instead I am implying that we need to just let ourselves be what we are without moral limitations. Go in the direction you are genuinely drawn to.
Let yourself grow freely.

  1. I couldn't agree more. Petty morality and false lines between what we call 'good' and 'bad' have been the key factors in hindering our ability of personal progression. I came to this realization myself months ago, that if I pull down my own barriers of what I've been taught to be the norm, and proceed into the world with an infantile understanding of right and wrong, I see everything in a new light.

I have been watching this video since last night, there are 2 parts and the 1st one is like 3 hours long. Sooo it has taken me a while to get through it but so far it has been amazing.
